Awards

UNC School of Media and Journalism undergraduate majors who have been admitted to the school are eligible to apply for funding through a wide array of awards made possible by generous donors. Awards provide funding for extracurricular activities, global experiences, immersive experiences and Internships.

Awards differ from scholarships in that award amounts are paid directly to the student rather than to the student’s UNC account. Awards may have tax implications. Learn more about scholarships here.
