  • Register here for Design a Magazine Spread in InDesign (with The Daily Tar Heel) on Thursday, April 5, 10-11 a.m.

Some locations will vary and BEAM workshops require BEAM orientation prior to registration.

Join POLITICO Executive Editor Paul Volpe in the Freedom Forum Conference Center on Thursday, April 5, for a discussion on the state of the media, leading a publication’s next generation and accountability.

After a career that spanned The Washington Post and The New York Times, Volpe was tapped to lead D.C.’s premier political publication POLITICO into the next generation.

His talk will address the changing media landscape in Washington, President Donald Trump’s impact of the press and the need for accountability journalism. A question and answer session will follow.
