Jordan Morehouse is a Roy H. Park Doctoral Fellow and teaches courses in public relations. Her research focuses on the public relations function within religious organizations and religious publics’ perspectives on engagement, organization-public relationship building, dialogue, and interactivity.

Morehouse has presented her research at the annual meetings of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AJEMC), the National Communication Association (NCA), and the International Communication Association (ICA). Morehouse has been a recipient of ICA Public Relations Division’s top student paper award in 2018 for her bibliometric analysis of dialogue and digital dialogic research in the public relations literature.

Before joining the graduate program in August 2016, Morehouse completed her M.A. at the University of Houston and worked for The Company of Others (now The Company, formerly FKM), an award-winning full-service advertising and strategic marketing agency in Houston, Texas. Morehouse was the exclusive social media strategist for four national CPG (consumer packaged goods) brands. Morehouse often references her experiences at The Company of Others and 002media (now LOCAL Creative Services) in her Public Relations Writing course and guest lectures.
