Heidi Hennink-Kaminski teaches marketing, advertising and social marketing courses in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her research focuses on social marketing, health communication and ethical issues associated with physician marketing.

Prior to transitioning to academia, Hennink-Kaminski accumulated 15 years of professional experience in senior marketing communications roles in both corporate and agency positions.

She has authored book chapters on telecommunications marketing and transnational advertising and most recently published in Social Marketing Quarterly, the Journal of Current Issues and Research in Advertising, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, and the Proceedings of the American Academy of Advertising.
