Associate degree, Alamance Community College

Bass graduated from Alamance Community College with an associate degree in applied secretarial science. She has worked in the fields of law, medicine and education. Bass joined the School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 1991 and works with the dean on special projects and routine matters. She also works with the School's business manager on events for the School's Board of Visitors, annual Halls of Fame induction ceremonies and distinguished lecture series.
