Amy graduated from UNC in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication. In October 2008, she joined the school's office of development and alumni affairs, where she helps coordinate alumni stewardship and programs and manages other office activities. Since September 2009, Amy has served as one of the school's event planning leads, organizing visiting professionals' schedules, alumni receptions, networking trips for students, halls of fame inductions, commencements and other school events.
