Welcome to Chapel Hill!
The UNC School of Media and Journalism welcomes all visitors, including prospective students, parents, alumni and friends.
Schedule a visit
Join us in Chapel Hill for a tour of Carroll Hall led by the MJ-school Ambassadors and a visit with Charlie Tuggle, senior associate dean for undergraduate studies. Tours depart from the main lobby on the first floor of Carroll Hall. Feel free to reserve a spot in advance — or you can just show up! Reservations are not required for academic year tours. Check out the MJSA website for updated information about tour dates and times.
MJ-school tours are scheduled so that visitors have the option of enjoying a complete UNC campus tour led by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions either before or after a 30-minute visit to Carroll Hall.
Through a revamped curriculum, undergraduate students learn the skills they need to succeed in the new media environment, whether they pursue careers in journalism, advertising, public relations or other communications fields. Learn more
